More than a year and a half after the presidential election, an NGO is still pressing two political groups that fielded their candidates for the country’s top post in 2008 to provide it with copies of their financial accounts and information on sources of donations.

The Freedom of Information Center of Armenia (FOICA) in fact has been suing the Orinats Yerkir party of 2008 presidential candidate Artur Baghdasaryan (currently National Security Council Secretary) and what is now the Armenian National Congress (ANC) of ex-president Levon Ter-Petrosyan, another election contender.
