From Woodrow Wilson to Protocols: Diplomat suggests not reviewing history

In the initialed protocols between Armenia and Turkey there is an attempt to review U.S. president Woodrow Wilson’s arbitral Award, according to which the border between Armenia and Turkey was demarked, states historian and diplomat Ara Papyan, Head of Modus Vivendi Center, and Armenia’s former Ambassador to Canada.

On April 26, 1920 the Assembly of Paris turned to Wilson with two requests: first asking the US to assume the mandate of Armenia, and secondly, asking the US president to arbitrarily demark Armenia’s borders.
