For the protocols, but…: Association of Azerbaijani Armenians wants “Wilsonian Armenia”

A non-governmental organization advancing the rights and interests of the former large Armenian population of Azerbaijan has pronounced in favor of the signing of the Armenian-Turkish protocols envisaging the normalization of relations between the two historical foes. Yet, its leader says the organization has reservations regarding the expected deal.
Grigoriy Ayvazyan, head of the Association of Azerbaijani Armenians, welcomes the signing of the protocols as a step aimed at achieving the re-opening of the Armenian-Turkish border and “delivering a serious blow to the Turkey-Azerbaijan tandem.”
